How identify customers still using weak ciphers?
Hello!
These last few days due to the end of support for cPanel 110 and Centos 7 we did a lot of server movement to move accounts from cPanel 110 to cPanel 120. At that time we realized that many customers complained that they could not access their emails with imap , pop3 or smtp. The reason is that they were still using outdated email clients.
In order not to force these customers to change everything, we decided to set up an extra server with support for weak ciphers and gave them an ultimatum to update everything before the end of the year.
I would like to monitor in a few months who is still using weak ciphers.
Do you know if there is any string I could search within exim_mainlog and mainlog to identify these customers using weak ciphers?
Thanks

Hey hey! It would likely be /var/log/maillog to see their connection, although I don't have a good way to reproduce that type of old client connection on my end to get you an example. I would recommend getting the IP address for one of the clients that is experiencing the issue and then tracking their login through the log file to see if it does show anything useful.
