Issues with Domain Mapping in cPanel for New Car Racing Game Domain
Hi everyone, I'm having trouble setting up domain mapping for a new domain I purchased for my car racing game, Drive Zone Online. The goal is to have this new domain point to an existing website I have under a different domain on the same hosting account.
I've tried using cPanel's Domain Mapper to configure the mapping, but the new domain just won't resolve and display my site's content.
I've ensured that the new domain is correctly assigned to my hosting package and that the DNS settings are pointing to my server. I've followed the cPanel documentation closely, remapping several times and clearing my cache, but still no luck.
Has anyone else experienced issues with domain mapping in cPanel? I'm not sure what I'm missing or if there's an additional step I need to take. Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated. 🥰
If you need any more details to help diagnose the issue, please let me know.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Hey there! To get another domain name to point to an existing site, you just need to use the cPanel >> Domains area. Ensure the "share document root" box is selected when you create the domain and that will setup the link in cPanel and Apache.
Have you tried that?
I'm not familiar with anything called "Domain Mapping" inside of cPanel.
