DNS Cluster Detach and Reattach

Hi Everyone,

Could someone clarify the following for me?

We have a DNSOnly server configured in a cluster to receive DNS from our primary WHM server. The primary WHM server is being replaced with a newer version, and the accounts/records are being migrated to the new WHM server.

The DNSOnly server is fairly new, so it doesn't need replacement. However, I do need to detach it from the current cluster and connect it to the new WHM server.

I'm not 100% clear on the process. Do I:

1. On the DNSOnly server - delete the server from the cluster (I believe this removes all records)

2. Configure the new WHM server to cluster with the DNSOnly server as per the normal process/guide?

  Hey there!  That sounds right to me if you want to remove the DNSOnly server from the existing WHM system and only have it on the new.
