I'm confused about SSL/TLS Status. Did I screw up?
AnsweredPlease help! I accidentally clicked Run Auto SSL/TLS Status in my wp toolkit. I did this because I couldn't get the staged new.mysite.com to connect to the server. This was probably a stupid thing to do. What is the recommendation for the unsecure domains below because I don't remember the icon views before I clicked Run Auto SSL/TLS.
I have the following table setup below.
Certificate Status is on the following Domain:
(An error occurred the last time AutoSSL ran, on July 3, 2024)
staged new.mysite.com - Self-Signed
staged www.new.mysite.com -Self-Signed
actual site mysite.com - AutoSSL Domain Validated
actual site www.mysite.com -AutoSSL Domain Validated
------------------------------------------------------
Certificate Status is on the following Domain:
Self -Signed (An error occurred the last time AutoSSL ran, on July 3, 2024
(The installed certificate does not cover this domain. The certificate will renew via AutoSSL, but this domain will be excluded. )
mail.mysite.com - Unsecured
cpanel.mysite.com - Unsecured
webmail.mysite.com - Unsecured
webdisk.mysite.com - Unsecured
cpcontacts.mysite.com - Unsecured
cpcalendars.mysite.com - Unsecured

Hi,
If the SSL/TLS Status interface does not show any errors for your subdomains, you can view the AutoSSL log in WHM > Manage AutoSSL > Logs. The logs should explain in more detail why the subdomains were not able to obtain a new SSL.
I see the output you provided also mentions "The installed certificate does not cover this domain". If you have a custom-installed SSL certificate that covers domain.tld but not any of the service subdomains (webdisk.domain.tld, cpcontacts.domain.tld) then AutoSSL would not be able to secure the service subdomains, as only one SSL certificate can be installed per virtualhost. The main domain would share the same virtualhost with its service subdomains.
