Elevate CentOS 7 to Almalinux 8 - Failed at Stage 4 - [Resolved]
AnsweredI am attempting to use the Elevate script to update VPS (Bluehost) from CentOS 7 to Almalinux 8. It failed at stage 4 and I don't know what to do to complete the update. I'm a newbie at this and I've scoured the web for solutions. I see a few things similar but nothing I have tried has worked. Can anyone figure out what is going on and at the very least point me in the right direction? Thanks!
Here is the cpanel elevate log-

Looks like either a network or DNS issue as it could not download information from the repo. A server provider or cPanel support ticket is prob. a best next step.

You shouldn't hav eany third-party repos in use during elevate. Loosk like the repo in quesetion is provided by your host. you shoudl disable that repo altogether. Worry about getting it working after Elevate completes successfully and reboots successfully.

Hey thanks for responding so quickly. I was able to disable the hgdedi repo through vi and finish the upgrade successfully. I probably should have done this differently, but I just updated cPanel to the latest version through WHM and did a final reboot. All looks good so I'll mark it as close/resolved.

I'm glad the repo was the only issue!
