After migrating account to new server emails not going outside of server
AnsweredI used the transfer tool to move an account over from one cpanel server to the other. On the old server I was able to send emails from a web form with no problems. On the new server some of them get stuck in the exim queue. If I view one of them and tell it to deliver the message I get the lines below. I have SMTP restrictions turned off and port 25 is open in the CSF firewall. Any ideas?

Hi, i am not very good at this but i did alittle digging and it seems that google may have limits and often disconnects on port 25.
Here is the resource for that, i hope it helps. I will keep digging to see if i can find something else as well.
I assume everything is the same between installs, same cPanel version, same OS, ect... ?
Also i would think there would be an error log with more detail, but i dont know what that is exactly but ill try to find out.

It turns out the data center where the VPS is located blocks port 25 by default unless you ask them to unblock it. They removed the block and it seems to be working now.

I'm glad that's all it took!
