servicestatus permissions
I'm setting up a new server with WHM 120 (coming from WHM 110). Previously using the servicestatus WHM API worked fine. On the new server, I'm getting an "Access denied" error. As far as I can tell, I have both servers configured identically. I'm running the API command as a reseller and the permissions for the reseller to view server status. As far as I can tell all the other APIs are working correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there! You're just running "whmapi1 servicestatus" and you're getting an error? Are you logged in as root while running that command?
I just tested this on a version 122 box and didn't see any issues.

I'm running the command as a reseller which the docs seem to indicate should be allowed.

Can you let me know which specific docs pages you're referencing?

I've set the reseller up with all permissions.

Actually I'm trying with root and it's not working either. I'm wondering if it's something to do with the Host Access Control issue I mentioned in another thread. https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/25132931129751-Hostaccess-control-suddenly-empty

I don't think service state should be related to a .htaccess file in any way, but I suppose anything is possible.
Do you see any other details in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log? If not, it would be best to create a ticket so we can review this.

Not sure where you're getting htaccess from.... but I don't see anything in that log after triggering the error. I'll see if I can get LiquidWeb to create a ticket.

Ah, I misread "host access" as "htaccess" as there are two threads about those getting emptied right now.
