Can't login ssh lightsail as root
I am currently using Lightsail CentOS 7 for my WHM. I have received a notification to update via "https://cpanel.github.io/elevate/". However, I am facing an issue where I am unable to access SSH through the Lightsail browser-based SSH client. When I try to log in, it defaults to the "centos" user, and when I attempt to switch to the root user using "sudo su -", I get the response "command not found".
I can only access SSH using the private key that I uploaded in "Manage root’s SSH Keys". I would appreciate any assistance with this matter.

Hey there! cPanel doesn't have any control over the Lightsail panel, so I can't comment on that portion of your issue. If you need to adjust the SSH service to be less restrictive you could enable password authentication in SSh directly through WHM using this tool:
https://docs.cpanel.net/whm/security-center/ssh-password-authorization-tweak/

Okay, understood. However, my question is, if I want to use the "cPanel Elevate Project", can I only use the SSH key that I uploaded in "Manage root’s SSH Keys"? Because on this page https://cpanel.github.io/elevate/#before-updating, it is recommended to have multiple ways to access SSH.

How you access the SSH service is completely unrelated to the ELevate project. It would be best to have your hosting provider determine why their browser-based system isn't working in case you lose access to the server directly.
