License expired for no reason?
Hi all,
Our license expired today for no payment reason and all invoices are already paid at the beginning of ther month. Is it system error or something else is going on?
Support site says they hours are until 4pm CST and I guess nobody will look into ticket until tomorrow.
Anyone else having issues with licensing today?

Same with my license. I login every day and there was no pending payments. I got Payment confirmation yesterday and now suspended. Now phone service not working, created ticket and I am waiting, hopefully fixed asap

Alright, here's the update.
Unfortunately there was a misconfiguration made in the licensing system that led to this issue. In some ways this is good news as it doesn't inside a more widespread issue like the earlier event was this year. Our team has resolved the problem we're currently fixing all affected licenses, which I expect to resolved within the next half hour.
You don't need to do anything on your server as the license check runs every five minutes when it detects an issue, so things will automatically be resolved for you by the cPanel scripts.
if you *don't* see things working or want to manually apply the change, you can always run "/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt" to refresh the license at any time.

Respectfully there is no planet on which this is "good news" in any way. The billing / licensing system keeps having cock-ups - sorry, inadvertent misconfigurations - and when it does, it causes problems for everyone affected. Trivializing it as "in some ways good news" just because it isn't a widespread cock-up this time is insulting to all of those who are having to deal with it.

Your policy of suspending servers with no warning due to your own system failures is not acceptable.
You've whacked the price up to a level where its time to move anyway, this is probably the shove we needed to rebuild the servers with something else.

No one said it was a policy - I said it was a mistake on our side that led to accounts being suspended.

So you sent us an email stating "Suspension Reason: Overdue on Payment"
I would say that is a clear policy that when you "think" you have no payment you just suspend the servers with no warning.
What is the policy if this is incorrect?
