Suspended Accounts Safe from attack?

In my case I have a reseller account with about 50 domain accounts with domains all built on WordPress.

About 10 of these accounts are old clients so I marked those as suspended.

For the 40 live accounts I take steps to safeguard these from malicious attacks.

My question is, do I need to keep doing this for suspended accounts? I'm thinking that because these accounts are not visible through http, that malicious actors cannot infect the WordPress files?

  Hey there!  That's correct - as the sites aren't online there would no way for the attackers to get in.
