Hey there! It sounds like there are no quotas configured in the operating system itself. What happens when you run "/scripts/initquotas" command on the command line?

I'm facing the same error:
[root@s1 ~]# /scripts/initquotas
journaled quota support: kernel supports, user space tools supports (available)
/dev/vda2 (already configured quotas = 1).
Updating Quota Files......
Running Task: “/sbin/quotacheck --create-files --user --group --verbose --force --use-first-dquot --no-remount --format=vfsv1 /dev/vda2”.
quotacheck: Your kernel probably supports ext4 quota feature but you are using external quota files. Please switch your filesystem to use ext4 quota feature as external quota files on ext4 are deprecated.
quotacheck: Scanning /dev/vda2 [/] quotacheck: Old group file name could not been determined. Usage will not be subtracted.
quotacheck: Checked 278135 directories and 1834285 files
quotacheck: Quota file //quota.user has IMMUTABLE flag set. Clearing.
quotacheck: Failed to remove IMMUTABLE flag from quota file //quota.user: Operation not permitted
doneCompleted Task: “/sbin/quotacheck --create-files --user --group --verbose --force --use-first-dquot --no-remount --format=vfsv1 /dev/vda2” in 1.238 second(s).

Quotas have been enabled and updated.I still get the same error

Mthokozisi - I have the team looking into this now and I'll post an update as soon as I have one to share.

At this time it seems a reboot is fixing this issue. I know that is disruptive, but you could try a reboot at a time when that is convenient for you and see if that resolves the issue?

Thank you for your response, I tried rebooting the server but still the same error. It seems like I cannot create new accounts.

Someone suggested I check this:
vi /etc/fstab
response:
/dev/vda2 / ext4 defaults,usrquota,grpquota 1 1
/usr/tmpDSK /tmp ext4 defaults,noauto 0 00 -
It would be best to contact your hosting provider about this issue as that all looks to be configured correctly.
