Can't Disable PowerDNS
I have a brand new cPanel server (122.05) which we just use for web hosting.
When I try to set the Name Server Selection to "Disabled" I get the message "Already configured for DISABLED...skipping"
The problem is that when I go back, it's still set to PowerDNS.
How do I force it to be disabled ? Or better yet - how do I uninstall PowerDNS completely?
It's currently preventing me from parking domains because it's throwing a DNS error - which is annoying because I don't want it to do anything with DNS.

I tricked it by switching to BIND and then switching to Disabled. :)
Now I can park domains.
I'd still like to know if I get rid of PowerDNS though.

Hey there! I'm not able to reproduce this on a version 122 test system. I created a new server, went to WHM >> Nameserver Selection, confirmed it was set to Power DNS, set it to "Disabled" and the service is completely disabled. We can confirm nothing is listening on port 53 on the command line as well:
[root@10-2-36-29 ~]# netstat -lpn | grep 53
[root@10-2-36-29 ~]#If you have a server where this is happening it may be best to create a ticket so we can see this in action.

The OS is AlmaLinux 9 if that helps

That was the OS I tested with as well. It would be best to create a ticket as I don't have a good explanation for the behavior you're seeing.
