WHM/cPanel notifications

Hi, I have WHM/cPanel running on an Alma Linux VM on an AWS EC2 but I am not receiving any WHM server notifications, I assume it is because AWS block all port 25 traffic.

Is there a way to get server notifications send via our MS365 exchange server?  I have tried setting up a smarthost but no luck.

  Hey there!  I would expect the smarthost to handle all email that is being sent from the system.  Do you see the notifications in the Exim log being sent to the smarthost?  That's the first thing I'd check to confirm that things were being sent.

  Thanks I have setup the smarthost in the Exim settings in WHM, but when I run exim -v <email-address> form the terminal it just hangs and dont seem to get any errors

  That sounds like normal behavior to me, even on a working system.

  What happens when you try and send a normal message from a mail client?  Does that work as expected?
