WEBMAIL NOT LOADING (Connection Refused)!

Please webmail is not loading even after going through series of recommendations

 

telnet <my_ip> 2096 shows connection refused.

i had to uninstall csf, imunify360 and even uninstalled cloudlinux but same.

i did  netstat -lnp | grep :209
tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:2091            0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      1082/cpdavd - accep

and

 netstat -lnp | grep :2096 (and also for port 2095)

brought out nothing

i restarted cpanel services and many more but same

  I downgraded my cpanel mirror version from 21 to 16 and it works fine now

  Hey there!  That's odd - I wouldn't expect a cPanel version change to affect the webmail in any way, and we generally don't support downgrades either.  Let us know if this happens again and if you're able to reproduce the issue.
