WHM and Cpanel search bar not working.
The search bar at the top right in WHM and cPanel on mobile (Android) isn't functioning. When you click on it, the search field expands, the keyboard briefly appears, and then it closes again.
Am I the only one experiencing this? The search works for me on version 110.0.36, but it stops working in any version beyond that.

Hey there! Unfortunately I'm not able to reproduce this issue. I tested this on a version 122 box with both Chrome and Firefox and they keyboard worked in the search bar normally for me.

It's not working for me. I've tested it on multiple devices, including a Google Pixel, Samsung S24, and a CAT device, as well as on various cPanel installations. No luck. The chances that this is related to the device or server seem low.
Also tried, chrome and Firefox and DuckduckGo. All do the same.
You sure you tested this from an android device?

That's interesting - is there any way you could do a screen recording or something similar, as well as note the server, device, OS version on device, app version, and all that data, and then create a ticket so this can be investigated? We just aren't able to reproduce this issue on a few different Android devices on version 120 or 122.

Thanks for that - I see our team is still waiting on access to the server, but we're on the case!

@cPRex, your team was able to reproduce the bug.
Ciao

Nice - I'm glad we could, and now the developers are on the case - thanks for sharing that video and creating the ticket!

This has still not been fixed!

I don't see that there has been any development action taken on this as it's a low priority case, with your ticket being the only complaint we've received. I have reached out to the development team to see if they can add this to future work, but there isn't any type of ETA on when this may be fixed.

Whether I'm the only one who has reported this or not, it doesn't change the fact that it's broken. I'm sure many people access the platform via mobile, and it's quite frustrating to have to scroll around to find an icon when a simple search function would make things easier. Additionally, I don't believe this requires a major development effort, it should be a quick and simple fix.

jp208834 - our team looked at this case and we weren't able to reproduce this on our end. If you could provide the specific hardware, OS version, and Chrome version we can double-check things on our end.
