Extend exim log retention
Hi!
I'm trying to find where to configure exim log retention and I can't find it. I'm pretty sure there was an option for this. Is that correct?
Thanks!

Hey there! You can adjust this, but it may adjust how long other log files are kept as well.
The time is stored in /etc/logrotate.conf and by default it is 4 weeks. Here is the logrotate configuration file from a default cPanel system:
# see "man logrotate" for details
# rotate log files weekly
weekly
# keep 4 weeks worth of backlogs
rotate 4
# create new (empty) log files after rotating old ones
create
# use date as a suffix of the rotated file
dateext
# uncomment this if you want your log files compressed
#compress
# RPM packages drop log rotation information into this directory
include /etc/logrotate.d
# system-specific logs may be also be configured here.Adjusting that one file will be the easiest option to keep those log files around longer.

Thanks!
Actually what I wanted was to extend the retention period of "Mail Delivery Reports". I found it in tweak settings.
That is completely independent of logrotate right? I don't need to have a longer logrotate to keep the "Mail Delivery Reports" statistics now that I set them to 180 days.

Correct - those are completely separate from logrotate.
