After update: Permission denied at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/SysQuota.pm line 418

Hello,

Our cPanel was upgraded last night:

*System Integrity* has detected modified file(s): /usr/bin/centrino-decode /usr/bin/cpapi1 /usr/bin/cpapi2 /usr/bin/cpapi3 /usr/bin/cpupower /usr/bin/gpio-event-mon /usr/bin/gpio-hammer /usr/bin/iio_event_monitor /usr/bin/iio_generic_buffer /usr/bin/intel-speed-select /usr/bin/lsgpio /usr/bin/lsiio /usr/bin/page_owner_sort /usr/bin/powernow-k8-decode /usr/bin/slabinfo /usr/bin/tmon /usr/bin/turbostat /usr/bin/uapi /usr/bin/x86_energy_perf_policy /usr/sbin/bpftool /usr/sbin/intel_sdsi /usr/sbin/whmapi0 /usr/sbin/whmapi1 /bin/centrino-decode /bin/cpapi1 /bin/cpapi2 /bin/cpapi3 /bin/cpupower /bin/gpio-event-mon /bin/gpio-hammer /bin/iio_event_monitor /bin/iio_generic_buffer /bin/intel-speed-select /bin/lsgpio /bin/lsiio /bin/page_owner_sort /bin/powernow-k8-decode /bin/slabinfo /bin/tmon /bin/turbostat /bin/uapi /bin/x86_energy_perf_policy /sbin/bpftool /sbin/intel_sdsi /sbin/whmapi0 /sbin/whmapi1 /usr/local/bin/crontab 

Since that upgrade '/usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log' is being spammed with the the following line for each and every email account on the server:

Error accessing /root/mail/domain_name/email_account/maildirsize: Permission denied at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/SysQuota.pm line 418.

OS CloudLinux v8.10.0 STANDARD
cPanel Version 122.0.20

Anyone else experiencing this and is there a solution?

  I am facing this issue too:

  Same issue here on servers running AlmaLinux 9.4 and cPanel 122.0.20

  I do not see the error on servers running CentOS 7.9 and cPanel 110.0.44.

  I'm guessing it's a known issue - I just haven't seen a rely to the ticket yet with more details.

  I just noticed this on my servers recently as well, every mail account:
