Site Quality Monitoring Alert
I am using the shared version of cPanel and switched on Site Quality Monitor Alerts.
However, I am not aware how and if I should react to email-warning I am receiving from time to time from cPanel.
This is the last warning:
"The desktop Lighthouse score (performance) was not within limits (current: 66, expected: >=75)."
In the past I already received similar warnings, and they have been resolved after a couple of days.
Is it possible for me to resolve this issue, so such warnings are not happening in the future?
Who is responsible for this errors - the DNS provider or the Hosting company?
Thank you for your reply!

Hey there! I don't believe these messages were coming from cPanel, as Lighthouse is a tool provided by Google Chrome:
https://developer.chrome.com/docs/lighthouse/overview
https://developer.chrome.com/docs/lighthouse/performance/performance-scoringso those wouldn't be related to the 360 Monitoring solution in the product. Details on the scoring system can be found in that second link.

Hi cPRex : it's actually part of the koality Site Quality Monitoring service offered within cPanel (emails originate from noreply {at} monitoring.cpanel.net ) . I've had these messages myself and been confused as to why the Lighthouse ratings change from one day to the next when no other changes are made.

So it turns out it does use that same Chrome tool, so the documentation there is still applicable. Here are the details on our side:
It's possible the server could have been under load the page was responding more slowly than usual and that triggered an alert. The lighthouse docs I linked originally say this:
"A lot of the variability in your overall Performance score and metric values is not due to Lighthouse. When your Performance score fluctuates it's usually because of changes in underlying conditions. Common problems include:
A/B tests or changes in ads being served
Internet traffic routing changes
Testing on different devices, such as a high-performance desktop and a low-performance laptop
Browser extensions that inject JavaScript and add/modify network requests
Antivirus software"You can also use the details from our documentation page to adjust the alert threshold.
