An Incremental Backup to a full backup

Dear Community,

Lets assume, we have a cPanel incremental backups configured on a server. Can you please advise on this situation

Question 1.

If the server is having following folders in /backup

2025-01-07
2025-01-09
2025-01-11

Is there is a way to generate a cpmove file for a specific account for 2025-01-09

Questions 2 :

When both daily and weekly backups are configured, The folder structure is like

2025-01-07
2025-01-09
2025-01-11
weekly/2024-12-29
weekly/2025-01-05
weekly/2025-01-12

In this format, does is keep a full copy of account specific to the daily and weekly backups ?

Also, is it possible to generate a cpmove file based on specific week backup ?

  Hey there!  There is not a way to create a pkgacct/cpmove file from the backups.  The only way I can think of would be to restore the account, package it up, and then delete the account again.

  As far as the filesize, if you are using incremental backups I would expect there to be a series of links along with the new files as that is how the incremental system is created to save disk space.  However, the daily and weekly backups would be a unique backup and have their own separate file structure.
