Hey there!  This is related to a known issue our team is working on under case ZC-12388, where the DNS data gets out of sync.  We have a fix in place, and it's going through final testing now so it will be included in all versions of 126 and it's scheduled to get backported to 124.

In the mean time, you can run this command to clean up the cluster:

    /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/bin/dnsadmin --action CLEANDNS

Thank you very much for the response and info!

I do occasionally run the DNS Cleanup via WHM on both servers in the cluster, but have not done so recently. I've just run the command line you suggested and will check on /var/log/messages again later / tomorrow and if there's anything noteworthy will update this thread.

Hello cPRex is there any update on the release of the fix into 124?

According to the logs this was pushed in version 124.0.26, which was released February 5:

    https://docs.cpanel.net/changelogs/124-change-log/

Are you still seeing issues with this now?

    Hello,

    I have the same problem.
    After I run this command

    /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/bin/dnsadmin --action CLEANDNS

and restart dns service, the problem has gone.

cPRex Yes we are, our servers are on 124.0.26. We've cleaned zones now and will monitor further.
