Import cPanel account from another server standardvirtualftp
Hi, when I import account from another server via WHM, how can I force my standardvirtualftp DNS zone template onto them?. A and AAAA records get overwriten as they should, but I have to manually add few CNAME and TXT records.
If I create the account/DNS first the standardvirtualftp is applied correctly.

Hey there! There isn't a way to change the records that get adjusted in the tool at this time. However, i do have one request for more granular control over the records that get handled during that process that read like this:
Request
We want the option to change MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records during a transfer or restore, as currently cPanel only adjusts those if they are the defaults
Use case
Currently, migrating accounts with custom DNS records can be a large support burden if they are custom records in any of these areas. In cPanel's current transfer and restore system, the records are only adjusted if they are set to the default values of the server. However, it would be nice to have the option to change these records as part of the transfer process.
The defaults as they are would still be in place, and these options could just be added to certain domains as needed.Does that sound like it would help with your situation as well?

Yes, it would. Thanks

Great - we're still looking into this and how we'd like to handle it, but it's on our radar!

Update - I talked about this at length with our team, and at this time we don't plan to change the behavior of the Transfer Tool or add additional options for this work.
There were really two reasons behind this decision. The first, is that adding such a feature would disrupt the workflow for users that have been using things in their current state for years. While that may sound odd and that we don't want to make progress, we do consider the disruption this would cause to existing users and tools that are in place.
The second issue is that this opens a Pandora's box of options for the Transfer Tool and it was a rabbit hole we didn't want to go down. If we add these DNS options, why not just add a DNS customizer within the tool for even more control? Why not add ______ option as well? It ended up getting messy quickly.
So, I know this isn't the news you wanted to hear, but at this time we don't plan to make this change.
