Error 404 access on port 443
I'm reaching out to you to find a solution that you have may in your archive of knowledge.
We have our website up after establishing the virtual server. Everything went well, but we ran into a snag. After the website is up, we're not able to connect to our website or the files with permissions 644, 755, and even 777 that we placed in the /home/$user/public_html. The VPS is running on Ubuntu 22, loaded with WHM/CPanel 124.0.23.
Anyone of us can access our site on port 2083, 2087, and 2089 without any issues on any of the internet service providers (ISPs). However, the strangest thing is, a few of us cannot access our website mainpage, which hits the Error 404 or unable to load.
We site created test file "hi.txt" for testing. The error that pops up is 404 on Port 443. We cannot understand why all of us can access the website without any problems for CPanel and WHM, but some of us canoot access the website nor the file with permissions.
Our virtual server has all ports activated to including inbound and outbound. Our router ports are wide open.
What are we missing? Any assistance is appreciated.

Hey there! Since the issue is isolated to a few particular users it would seem the problem is most likely on their end.
Since you mentioned port 2087, you have root access to the server. Do you see any additional details in the Apache log when those particular users try to connect? If they were blocked by the server for some reason I would expect that to show up there. That log file is located at /etc/apache2/logs/error_log.
You could also have the users run a traceroute test from their local machine to see if they can properly reach the server from their particular location.
