Starting Over
So, I have been on the phone with my ISP concerning my IP address (and setting up reverse DNS lookup) and banging my head against the wall thinking that I apparently missed a step when originally setting up the server because it shouldn't be this difficult. Is there a way to completely start over from the initial WHM/Cpanel install and re-work my ways outward? I honestly feel that this may be the best option for me at this point. I can't get AutoSSL to work because my domain names aren't managed, but technically they are, but I can't see what is wrong with the DNS server and its zones layout. It looks good to me, but obviously I've missed something in a previous step. Is resetting everything (nuke it all and restart) possible?

hello,
Of course you can reinstall everything from scratch, just do the reinstallation from your provider's control panel. There are usually ready-made images that you can use.
However, to fix this kind of thing like nameserver, hostname or DNS you don't need to reinstall everything.
Write here exactly what your problem is and someone will be happy to help you

I would also expect that anyone selling a cPanel license would be able to fix DNS issues - if your host not able to provide you with the support you need to get things working?

Sorry for the late reply; Work called and it called with vigor. :)
The reason for my thought of starting over was that as I am relatively inexperienced at server management, I felt that I may have missed something that in turn has created a cascading effect. My ISP is currently working on the reverse DNS issue for me, it's just that they are a small rural cooperative that started their own fiber lines for internet and haven't ever had a request like this since their inception. Just as a side note, they did not sell me the license; I purchased the license directly from the cpanel store myself. If anyone here has any information about using Infoblox and how to add the reverse DNS zone pointer file or any tips or pointers that would be awesome.

If you purchased the license directly from us you would be able to create a support ticket at any time.
Reverse DNS *has* to be handled by your provider, except in very rare cases.

Do you have to have Reverse DNS in order for AutoSSL to work correctly?

No, rDNS is typically required for email to function at all the major providers, though.
