Extremely high loads times Isphp:/home/logicupvcco/public_html/index.php Isphp:/home/domainname/public_html/index.php
Hello
I am having extremely high loads times on my cloud NX server over the last 3 days. It's happened a couple of times a day at they have reached over 80.
When I look into the processes I am getting this process run simultaneously for all accounts causing the high CPU usage.
Isphp:/home/domainname/public_html/index.php
or
lsphp
Could someone advise what it might be? That is doing it to all accounts at the same time?
I have a company that looks after the server and each time it happens they come back to me once the loads have gone down and say it's fine. They advise me they can't investigate or tell me what it is as they are not seeing it happen.
Am I correct in thinking the logs on the server should point to the issue?
Does anyone have any recommendations of someone / company who can take a look at my server and investigate and potentially resolve the issue? Happy to pay,
Thanks

Hey there! Without more detail, we won't be able to say for certain what is happening.
If you're seeing this across multiple accounts on the machine I'm wondering if your system may be experiencing a DoS attack. Are you seeing any odd increases in traffic on the system?
If your license is purchased through cPanel we'd be happy to help directly through a ticket - if not, you'd need to work with your host.
There are many good third-party admins that perform diagnostic work, although I'm not able to recommend any one specifically.

Hi Rex
Thanks for coming back to me.
My license is directly with cPanel and the server is WHM.
I am seeing it across all accounts, like it's systematically doing each account one after another or simultaneously.
If I submit a support ticket will they be able to determine if it is a DoS attack using the logs? Or would they need to see it happening live? Thanks

It's hard to say - I'd make the ticket and then we'll be able to check things directly on the system. Anything else is just guessing.

I have the same issue with one of my accounts.
Isphp:/home/domainname/public_html/index.php
It just overflows the account, and we had to Suspend it, until we get this issue fixed.
Anything would be of great help. We are on 124.0.30, but it started on 124.0.29.
Thanks.

InternetTim - the same advice would apply to your specific account - you'll need to see if you can find a large number of connections to the domain or see if there is a bandwidth increase.
