Mail-Send problem after moving a domain
Hi, I had two domains "a.de" and "b.de" in cpanel. Now I use Office 365 for "a.de". I have deactivated the mail-accounts in cpanel. When I send a mail from "b.de" to "a.de" the message will not appear in Office 365.
It seems that cpanel is looking for a local mailfle. Must I delete "a.de" in cpanel? There is a warning, that there is no undo ...
Thanks
René

Hey there! In cPanel >> Email Routing you'll need to set the domain to the "remote" mail exchanger option to tell the server to look to the DNS records for mail delivery. After that is changed I would expect the mail to work properly.

Thank you for this idea. Unfortunatetly ist does not work, because it is the same domain-name.
Error-Message: "domain” cannot be equivalent to “destdomain”.

When you say you have "deactivated" the mail accounts in cPanel, can you get me more details on what that means? I need a more thorough understanding of the mail configuration before I can recommend any changes.
