Disk quotas not working
Hi,
Ive looked through various posts and followed the cpanel fix quota guide but still unable to get disk quotas working.
All of the accounts within WHM show extremely low disk usage yet using du via ssh shows a significant higher amount of disk usage per account.
Ive ran the /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/initquotas which went through fine no errors and also ran /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/fixquotas which ouputs:
/]# /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/fixquotas
journaled quota support: kernel supports, user space tools supports (available)
UUID=41e7ab6b-12cf-444c-a383-8d17447e4d8a (already configured quotas = 1).

Updating Quota Files..........Done
Quotas have been enabled and updated.
You must reboot the server to enable XFS® filesystem quotas.
Rebooted the server and disk usage is still not updating. Any further advice would be appreciated.
Thankyou

Hey there! It looks like the cPanel tools are working normally. Have you worked through this guide for the XFS system you're using?
https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/360058278234-Enabling-XFS-quotas
If so, it would be best to contact your host to have them check the machine and see why the quotas aren't working as expected, as cPanel reads the quotas directly from the operating system.
If the issue is that the quotas are indeed working but you're just not seeing the correct usage in the cPanel & WHM interfaces, it may just need time to update as the quota check isn't immediate every time you refresh the interface.

Is your server in an ovh data center?
If so, if you formatted the home directory as xfs, quota calculation cannot be done, format it as ext4 and try.
