Error: The WebSocket handshake failed

I recently designated a team member as an administrator on my Cpanel account, but he is unable to access the terminal. When he attempts to open it, he receives an error message stating that the handshake failed.

Could you please assist in resolving this issue?

Please note that the terminal is working fine on the Cpanel account but not for the administrator team member.

  Hey there!  This is a known issue that is being handled in case DUCKS-2281.  The ultimate answer is that Team users weren't intended to have access to Terminal, but that was never originally restricted.  The team is going to be updated the interface and the error message to make this more clear.

  Just to confirm, does this mean that Terminal access will remain restricted for Team users permanently, even in future updates?

  Yes, at this time we do not plan to allow Team users access to the Terminal function.
