Addtional stroage as home2
I have my whm server with hetzner. After I feel that that the / partition is getting full.
I decided to go with createing new partition for createing new cpanel account in home2. Then I purchased the addtional volume from the hetzner and have mounted and configured everything to work with WHM.
it works too. New account of cpanel get started to create in home2 partition.
When I checked from the service status page from whm too. It shows the valid partition created with the name home2.
I can sure you that there is no issue in mounting partitioning.
but the issue I face is that no any of the account created in home2 partition is able to run any php code. That is even not able to load simple phpinfo.php file which is located under the public_html(for testing purpose).
Then I tried installing wordpress, it also shows the same issue.
Issue was:
This page isn’t working yourdomain.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 50
Now, I have no way. On one side, my primary partition is getting full day by day. and I am not able to fix this issue of secondary partition for storing other cpanel accounts data.
how can I fix ? please help? I mostly doubt that its something related to php config not the mounting.

One of the reasons could be your primary partition is getting full. What do you see in the log file?
/usr/local/apache/logs/error_log

Primary disk is not that much full by the way. I am just making more space for system file for backup.
and want to store cpanel accounts data in separate partition as home2.

That's odd for sure - do you happen to have CageFS configured on the machine, and that needs to be rebuilt after adding the new partition?

It was weird.
Later I fixed this issue by simply adding.
open_basedir = "/home/:/home2/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp:/usr/share/l.v.e-manager/"
previous there was no home2 path in it. So I simply added as I found that php was not able to execute for the site while the other static page was loading fine.0 -
I'm glad you were able to get that working!
