Rsync on mdbox

Hi, I have the server broken. I will need to extract the files with rsync (I cannot yet).
Meanwhile, I can up accounts on other server from some old backups.
This will permit the clients to use their emails. 
But the question is, if after some hours of use (and getting new emails), I do a rsync from original server, that will broke o loss emails ? I use mdbox format.

  Hey there!  Syncing the home directory after a few hours is a perfectly valid way to move emails after a few hours to ensure you don't miss any.  I would recommend syncing all of /home/username to ensure nothing is missed.

  Fortunatelly we managed to up the server and we are copying the accounts properly using the Transfer tool.

  Is a good think to know, anyway.
