Cannot edit "Maximum Hourly Email by Domain Relayed"

During package add, or edit. No matter what I put In this field, besides 50, anything LESS, and anything MORE. Then it does not work I get the error

(XID mbn46p) Invalid value “10000” for the “max_email_per_hour” setting.


I can set it to unlimited, but I really dont want that. So what could be wrong ???

  Hey there!  Just to confirm, you're saying that the *only* value you can use is 50?  Are you making this change as the root user on the server?  If so, do you se any additional errors in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log while you try and perform that work?

  Seems that if Max hourly emails per domain in Tweak settings is set (to other than Unlimited), you can't change that in Packages, you can only change it to Unlimited.

  Solved it, quietFinn was right, in tweak settings apparently that at some point got changed to 50 (we did not since our earlier packages always had a higher limit) so perhaps an update somehow put the 50 limit there. But all well, after I changed it there to unlimited, in edit packages I could set my own limit without problem :)

  quietFinn - yes!  That's what's happening here.

  I'm going to get a case filed to show a better error message on that page.

  I've created case CPANEL-46970 to see if we can present that error message differently in a future release.  I'll be sure to post here if I get some update on that case.

  I've also submitted a request to get that docs page updated.
