Elevation process failed during stage 4.
I am attempting to use the Elevate script to update VPS (ihs Telekom) Almalinux 8 to 9.
It failed at stage 4 and I don't know what to do to complete the update.
I've searched forum and the web for solutions. I see a few things similar but nothing I have tried has worked.
Can anyone figure out what is going on and at the very least point me in the right direction? Many Thanks!
Here is the cpanel elevate log picture

Hey there! From your first image, do you see any additional data about the failure in /var/log/leapp/leapp-upgrade.log or /var/log/leapp/leapp-report.txt? That's the first place to look for information about why the failure happened, but without more data on the reason for the failure I can't make any recommendations for this situation.

I'm not able to access any of those links.
Since you have access to the log it would be best for you to check near the end of each to see if there is anything helpful.

Trying to run cPanel installer on a server which already have this installed is a very bad idea. It looks like Stage 3 was not completed successfully when the server first would have booted into Almalinux 8 kernel and replace CentOS 7 packages with Alma 8. Do you still have the Elevate OS entry in your grub config. If so you should boot into that again and via KVM (console) you should monitor the process and see how it goes (or where it got stuck exactly).
