Account dedicated to private IP

I have a cPanel VPS and it comes with 1 private IP and 1 public IP, however cpanel dedicated my hosting account to the private IP and I am unable to unbind it from the private IP. This result in my website cannot be resolved due to apache config use the private IP. 

Anyone have suggestion how to unbind the account from private IP?

  Hey there!  Can you change the IP address in WHM >> Change Site's IP Address?  i would expect that page to handle that configuration change for you.
