WP Toolkit stopped working after cpanel 128.0.11
Hi , on all my domains and accounts the wp toolkit stopped showing any installed site, no more install button for new wordpress site as well and it shows when I click the settings in whm that I have WP Toolkit Deluxe accounts used: 0 , this is very weird, and no wp toolit ignore file anywhere, also I tried to re install CPANEL latest update and force it, same thing nothing changed.

Yup! Same here. Completely lost the database. Can't scan either.
Checked to make sure there were no .wp-toolkit-ignore files, but that's not the problem.

Hey there! Do you see anything inside of the main cPanel log (/usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log) that may be related to this issue? I'm not aware of any widespread issues with WP Toolkit at this time, so this is most likely an isolated incident of some sort.
Anything that happens in the cPanel interface would get loaded into that log file, so I'd expect to see something there reporting an issue.

I get no errors in that log file.

did a graceful restart, no change.

I do see that someone has submitted a ticket with similar behavior. We're investigating that now and I'll let you know what we find out!

Also experiencing this on 126.0.21, scan doesn't work and there's no install button either

I don't have any updates just yet but I can confirm the ticket has been escalated. If I hear anything I'll be sure to share, although it may not be until tomorrow at this point.

We've identified the issue and we're working on a fix at this time. I'll post more as soon as I have more details.

We've published an article with a fix for this issue:
Our team is also working on a fix in the software itself so additional users aren't affected with the latest update.

Update - the original support article is still valid, but we've updated the versions so updates will no longer be locked. At this time everything should be back to normal but please use the workaround in the article if you have any systems experiencing the issue.
The official changelog entry will show this:126.0.23
2025-06-10 Fixed CPANEL-47735: The directory /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/addonfeatures/ was unintentionally removed in a previous commit. This update restores the directory to maintain expected file structure and prevent potential issues with dependent features. No additional changes were made beyond the restoration.-3 -
Just to update you , I did update to the latest version now and I still dont see anything in WP Toolkit and cant even install new wordpress using it.

WP-tollkit scaning error - Is WP-tollkit scaning issues solved?
Scanning for WordPress websites was performed. To re-add previously detached sites, remove .wp-toolkit-ignore file in the site's document root, then run Scan again! after removal of the file .wp-toolkit-ignore also not scanning.0 -
We have the same issue.
The workaround fix and updating to the latest cPanel 126.0.23 hotfix has not resolved it and WP Toolkit is still broken / not listing sites.0 -
Fix worked for me. Thanks.
I'm on 128.0.11.

cPanel support re-installed WP toolkit completely which fixed the issue - It's worth contacting them if the hotfix and update do not work.

The published fix only works if you are still in 128.0.11
On one server I had updated to 128.0.13 and the reinstall fix doesn't work as "Installed package wp-toolkit-cpanel-6.6.8-9344.x86_64 (from wp-toolkit-cpanel) not available"
Please advise what to do if already upgraded to 128.0.13

At this point if you are still experiencing issues please open a ticket so this can be investigated.

We have updated our servers to 126.0.23, the directory /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/addonfeatures is back and there is just an empty file addonfeatures.txt
We don't use wp-toolkit, Site Quality Monitoring, Sitejet Builder or Social Media Management, so is it necessary to run the "Workaround" command I see here? :
https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/32731714006551-Update-to-latest-cPanel-110-126-or-128-versions-removes-addonfeatures-directory0 -
If you aren't using those other tools then no, you can ignore that portion of the workaround.

Update - the article has been adjusted to provide a fix where the reinstall didn't work properly due to a repository issue.

Hello!
Since I updated to 128.0.14, no WordPress installations appear in the WP Toolkit section. I followed the steps in the link, but it still doesn't work. All the installations on the server have disappeared.1 -
This morning, without doing anything (the automatic cron tasks will have been executed), all the accounts have appeared in Wp Toolkit 🤷♂️
