CalDAV Error When Accepting Meeting Invitations

Hi everyone,

Recently, we’ve been encountering an issue in cPanel webmail when accepting calendar invitations. Users receive the following error:

Error:
DAV Error (500): 11.128.0.14 "\x{00e2}" does not map to ascii at /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/536/cpanel-lib/Email/MIME.pm line 281
Failed to import the event

It seems related to special character parsing. We’re using InMotion Hosting and aren’t sure if this is caused by the provider’s cPanel or Perl version, or if it’s a configuration issue on our side. So far, it seems like a one-off issue.

If anyone has any ideas, recommendations, or has encountered this before, we’d really appreciate it!

  Hey hey!  You may need to create a ticket on this one as I don't have any similar errors to reference on my end, so you could be in uncharted territory!
