Websites show “Sorry” page after Lightsail snapshot restore
Hi all,
After restoring my Lightsail WHM/cPanel server from a snapshot and re-attaching the static IP, WHM and cPanel work fine — but all hosted websites just show the default “Sorry!” page.
I checked under “Show or Delete Current IP Addresses” in WHM, and the local IP still shows the old private server IP.
Could that be the cause? If yes, how can I properly update or fix it? Or is there something else I should check?
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Hey there! Can you try running this command on the system to see if that correctly updates the internal IP address(es)?
/scripts/build_cpnat
If that output looks correct, you can then adjust the accounts on the server to use the correct IP address.

Hi,
The problem has been resolved. Here’s what I did to fix it:

Edited
/var/cpanel/cpnatto set the correct static IP. -
Validated the IP under “Show or Delete Current IP Addresses” in WHM.

Reassigned the correct IP to all websites using “Change Multiple Sites’ IP Address” in WHM.
After these changes, all websites are now loading correctly.
