Mail folder delegation
We're seeing an increase in virtual assistants provide email administration services to our customers.
This in itself isn't so much of a problem, because the VA and our customer can share their IMAP account and share the entire mailbox between them. Where it becomes a problem is when a customer doesn't want to share their entire IMAP account, but instead just provide the VA access to a small handful of folders. This is problematic for us as we can't offer a solution. But the VA can, which is switch to Microsoft 365 - which can do folder delegation.
Is this something on the cPanel development roadmap?
We can delegate calendar access within cPanel. But there hasn't been much discussion or progress on mailbox folder delegation within cPanel.
VA's core market is small business, as is ours, but once they have our customers ear about our constraints- it makes it very difficult to hold on to the customer and prevent them from switching to M365.

Hey there! I haven't heard anything about this on my end, but I'd be happy to bring it up with the team during our next feature requests meeting if you'd like!

That would be brilliant thank you, I wouldn't expect this to be a hugely popular request at this stage largely because VA's offering email management services isn't mainstream and still ahead of the curve, but to me it's all about bridging the gap on features, so we can remain competitive and viable for our customers.

I've got it on the list for this week and I'll let you know!
