[URGENT] 421 Misdirected Request AND Error 'You are currently not connected to any Networks'
Today I woke up to find all my servers down. This is the second week I’ve experienced this impact affecting more than 30 users hosted with WHM/CPANEL licenses. This should not happen—we are all paying for usage licenses, which guarantee that WHM/cPanel packages are approved and validated. Otherwise, all that work and manual actions are being carried out by us, the end users. It has been three weeks since the first incident, and cPanel still has not resolved this issue.
I have performed many manual actions during these three weeks, which have undoubtedly changed the ecosystem of my servers—something that theoretically should not happen, since the CPANEL/WHM ecosystem is paid and therefore comes with cPanel support, guaranteeing proper functionality before any manual user actions are required.
I am very frustrated because, in the last three weeks, I’ve had many clients calling me for explanations. Many are affected by the 421 error, others by interruptions in delivered packages showing the message: “You are currently not connected to any Networks,” and others by slow loading speeds because the only efficient fix is to completely uninstall NGINX (ea-nginx). All the recommendations shared here and in support channels have only been temporary workarounds.
I am currently at risk of losing important clients due to three major incidents on the following dates:
-
July 17 – (421 Misdirected Request Error) (Partial impact, only 3 sites)
-
July 26 – (421 Misdirected Request Error) (All my servers with Nginx + Apache impacted)
-
August 3 – (“You are currently not connected to any Networks” Error) (All servers with Nginx + Apache impacted)
As paying users, we need a definitive response from CPANEL/WHM:
-
When will the final release be issued to fix all these problems and deliver a functional ecosystem? (Nginx + Apache)
-
Will these changes come automatically as a CPANEL/WHM package update, or will more manual actions be required? (Please don’t tell us we must continue performing manual actions.)
-
Will CPANEL/WHM take responsibility for clients holding a BareMetal license resold by a Dedicated Host Provider?
I look forward to your response before taking definitive action regarding my clients.

Hey there! cPanel itself hasn't released an update since the initial change on July 17th that caused the issue, which was rolled back within 24 hours. The July 26th change was an update from CloudLinux, but I haven't heard anything about August 3rd on my end so I can't say for sure what happened there.
At this time, the plan is to email all users tomorrow, August 6, with communication about how they can test their systems, and then we're releasing an update August 11 with the Apache fixes.
