High load for lots of show_template.s
Somehow every day or once in 2 days my server gets extremely high loads of up to 70 and i have to reboot to make it accessible again.
Underneath an example of the list of processes, anyone got an idea how to stop this behaviour? Where is it coming from?
Cpanel is behind a firewall, not accessible for outsiders.

Hey there! show_template.stor gets called when someone tries to load the login interface for cPanel services. While you mention this system is behind a firewall it would be worth checking the logs at /usr/local/cpanel/logs/login_log to see if there is a specific IP address that is reaching the server multiple times and causing this issue.
Can you check that and see if you can find anything there?

Do we have any update on this ? its causing server cpu spikes that make the websites unresponsive ?

No, I don't have any updates on this since it doesn't seem to be a widespread issue, as this post is 9 months old.
It would be best to create a ticket so this could be investigated directly on your system.

exentric - That's specifically for CSF complaining about the process running too long, which doesn't affect anything on the system except triggering the CSF warning. If people are actually seeing a performance issue from this we'd like to take a look.
