Email Auto-Delete Option

I have a few email accounts in cPanel and have set them to forward copies of incoming emails to an external email account (I don’t want to immediately delete emails as they are forwarded).

For security purposes, I want to keep emails in the cPanel mailboxes for 7 days before they are automatically deleted.

At present, all received emails are retained in the cPanel mailboxes (Roundcube), and there is no way to automatically delete them after 7 days.

I’m using an AlmaLinux 8 VPS server with cPanel 130.0.14.

  Hey there!  What if you used the cPanel >> Email Disk Usage tool to test a custom Dovecot query:

  https://docs.cpanel.net/cpanel/email/email-disk-usage/

  and then once you're happy with your command you could set that up in a cron for that particular user?
