The system detected an invalid hostname configuration
Hi All,
I installed an ubuntu server with cpanel in an azure VM and it's behind NAT with a private ip 192.168.1.2 recently. Today, I receives the below error:
The main IP address of your cPanel & WHM server is “192.168.1.2”. The hostname does not resolve to this IP address. This misconfiguration can cause some services on your server to fail to restart properly. The cause of your misconfiguration is:
WHM has detected a manual hostname change.
To fix this problem, we recommend that you perform the following action:
The system will attempt to synchronize the current hostname “server.abc.com” to the system configuration. In the future, update your hostname in WHM’s (http://server.abc.com:2087/scripts2/changehostname) interface (Home » Networking Setup » Change Hostname).
This notice is the result of a request from “server_hostname_validator”.
“Invalid Hostname For Main IP Address” notifications are currently configured to have an importance of “High”. You can change the importance or disable this type of notification in WHM’s Contact Manager at: https://server.abc.com:2087/scripts2/editcontact?event=Check::ValidServerHostname
I run the script /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_valid_server_hostname --verbose and the output is "OK". Is there anything I need to be aware of? Thanks.

Hey there! Is the hostname for your server setup in DNS yet so it responds to tools like ping and dig? If not, you can ignore this warning until things are configured, escpecially since check_valid_server_hostname is not reporting an issue.
