Confusion around "Partner Support licenses" and contacting cPanel support
PinnedHey everyone! I just wanted to clear up some misinformation that still seems to be out there about support tickets, contacting cPanel directly for support, and Partner Support Licenses.
No matter what type of license you have you *always* have the option to get support for cPanel issues:
- If your license wasn't purchased directly through cPanel you would contact your license provider and then they would escalate the issue directly to us if they aren't able to resolve it.
- If your license is purchased directly from cPanel, you can create a ticket like normal through the WHM interface or through our support portal.
- If your license is purchased through a third party *and* they are telling you they do not offer support, we'd like to hear about! Send an email to cs@cpanel.net to speak with our Customer Service team and include the details about your support experience.
We're always here to help through the Forums here or through Discord and Reddit, but sometimes examining the server directly through a ticket is the best option.
