To use Client FTP Software to upload data to the Web Server - I have to enable FTP in WHM? SEE SCREENSHOT

In other words FTP Server is Not enabled by Default... needed enabled? I have bought this fresh new VPS a week ago

  Hi lse webmaster,

  Yes, you have to choose anyone ProFTPD or Pure-FTPD from "WHM >> FTP server Selection" and click "save". Then it'll install that software on the server and you can use the FTP functionality properly.

  cPanel has disabled the FTP service by default since version 86, so this is expected behavior on a brand new machine.
