    Hey there!  You are correct that these tools were put in place to potentially send surveys to both cPanel and WHM users.  Since these are just the tools to make them I am not yet aware of any plans about specific surveys happening.

    According to https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/37719660808727-Roundcube-stopped-working-formbricks-plugin this just happend ;-)

    We'd also like to see a killswitch in whm for this. Asking your customers (=us) for feedback seems reasonable - interaction with our customers (=not your customers) should not happen.

    As sushlik already pointed out - it's our brand reputation at stake here.

    cPRex hopefully this gets addressed soon - thank you! If you need us to send an e-mail/ticket on this matter please advise

    hostb - it is my understanding that they don't plan to change this behavior.

    I also have a problem with this 'survey'.
    I'm running 132.0.23.
    Ever since the update, whenever I login to WHM, it's constantly in my notifications area.
    I've filled in the survey twice now, but cannot get rid of this notification??
    It's really annoying;

    Even if there was a tick-box maybe saying "Do not show this again" would help

    Alan Maxwell - it's a known issue that the survey doesn't go away after you complete it.  We plan to have that fixed by the time the next survey is released.

    Thanks for the swift response cPRex. 👍

    I can live with it until the next update.

    I can only support this request: I can live with surveys for us as direct customers, but contacting our customers is a no-go.

    What brought me here was that tonight a lot of account backups failed, and they worked fine after we removed /var/cpanel/userdata/username/scope/inproductsurvey/.

    At this time there isn't a way to remove the survey from the interface although you can skip it if you'd rather fill it out at a later time.  I'm collecting all of the feedback we're receiving about the current survey and will make sure the product team sees it.

    Surveys are only useful when they are voluntary.
    Forced surveys are just plain stupid
