Email redownloading
Anyone else have an "issue" this morning with their email suddenly needing to redownload every message still on the server, whether it was flagged for download or not?

This email also came from the server at around the same time the issue popped up.

It didn't cause any major issues, exactly... but one of my accounts had over 3000 emails in the Inbox, that it downloaded 2 more times each (at least it marked them all as unread, so it was easy to clean them up once the download was done). It only did it the 2 times, which at least tells me it wasn't caught in a loop. But it did it on several different computers, all with Outlook. Was this a Dovecot update issue, or something deeper? I know it wasn't exactly a WHM issue as it didn't update versions, but was it perhaps Dovecots attempt to fix an earlier issue with Edge? It didn't flag any of the emails in webmail, it only forced the download to local.

We are experiencing major issues. All our clients are unable to login into there email accounts after this.

Hey there! Is there a reason you're using version 132? That's still Edge-tier software and currently does have some issues with dovecot and email that aren't resolved. The most notable issue can be found here:

but I can't say for sure if that will resolve the issues you're seeing.
It may be best to create a ticket if that doesn't take care of the issues.

To be honest I have no idea why, our devs decided back in the day to always be on release/stable versions but checking now I see we are on current? Not sure what that means as the updates definitely happened automatically to 132 but we aren't or didn't select Edge as seen in the screenshot. Very confused. I also checked with devs none of them pushed the update to 132.

We also set the hibernation settings this morning to no avail. All our clients are still down.0 -
132 was pushed to Current for a *very* brief amount of time last week before an issue was discovered affecting email. Can you submit a ticket so we can check that out?

Oh okay. Already have they've been busy the last few hours to no avail. Level 2 Analyst is now busy to see if he can solve 🤞🏼
