Been seeing this error popup for random accounts over the last few weeks in the cptransport log and it has never been an issue in the last few years. Anyone else? 

warn [cpbackup_transporter] Path creation failed:  AuthorizationHeaderMalformed: The authorization header is malformed; the region 'us-east-1' is wrong; expecting 'us-east-2'

    Update - this is fixed in version 134 and is scheduled to be backported to version 132.  If I hear more, I'll post!

    @cPRex … just a reminder that those of us stuck on Almalinux 8 are stuck as CP 130.x.x. Any chance this will get back ported to that?

    I'm not sure if being on AL8 would be a reason in itself to be stuck on cP 130, verdon?  We have an AL server here happily running 132.  The STABLE branch of cP is currently at 130 but that'll progress to 132 at some point.

    There isn't any reason you should be pinned to version 130 on AlmaLinux 8.

    We’ve had multiple clients experience this issue on CloudLinux 7, which is currently locked on cPanel version 110. Will this patch be included in the v110?

    I second the request for 110.  I know it's dated, but we will migrate them off next year.  Surely a hotfix can be applied for this one?

    @cPRex ya, that was weird. My update prefs were set to Release, and yet I was stuck at 130.0.x. I just ran UPCP manually and it updated to 132.0.9. I'll have to keep an eye on it. I had just assumed it was the end of the line for AL8. Thanks for your advice!

    kj and Gareth-AWD - I talked to the team and we aren't able to push this as far back as version 110.

    cPRex That's a shame.

    Oddly enough, I've not had the failed transport notifications at all in the last 2 days.

    Gareth-AWD - we have also not had failures for the past 2 days either.

    We are still on CPANEL 126.0.37

    Update - we did resolve the issue in version 132.0.11 so any server receiving updates on anything except Stable would have this fix now.

    Thanks cPRex and team for tackling the issue.  All good now at this end, although as others have said, perhaps just a coincidence but it seemed to be fixed a couple of days before that update was installed!
