How to stage a web site between cPanel Account
Hello everyone,
I am new on cPanel.
I have been created a WP site with WP toolkit in a cPanel account. Now I want to create the staging site. I have done it using the "clone" button in WP toolkit, but onestly I don't like the structure of the folders it creates. I mean I don't like it create the staging site inside the main site.
I think they should be separete, so I expect they are created in sibling folders at least.
However I have also the doubt about what could happen if I update for example the version of PHP. If this operation could break something in my live web site. So I decided to create a different account in cPanel e maintain totally separate the live web site from the staging web site.
But now I have the problem about how syncronize the two web sites. Is there any tool in cPanel or a WP plugin that allows me to maintain syncronized the two web sites between two different cPanel accounts?
Thank you for any help or for any suggestion you could give me.

Hey hey! As mentioned in the other thread, there isn't a way to clone the data to a new cPanel account at this time.
What most people do is make all their changes and then deploy the staging site as the live site, although you are still restricted to having it be within the same cPanel account.

Thank you. I hoped something has been changed in the last 2 years.
Well, I do not think sync the web sites manually is a good approach.
At the moment I prefer lose something in "decoupling" than risking to do wrong something during a manual sync.
Thank you
