Extended PHP Support

Hello.

Will the mentioned upgrade enable PHP EOL to be used on newer systems as well?

It would eliminate the problem of users having to repeatedly update their applications every time a newer system is introduced.

Will PHP 7.4 also be available on newer systems?

  Hey there!  It is my current understanding that we'll be partnering with Tuxcare, and their tools go back to PHP 5.2.  So yes, once this is available you can run EOL versions of PHP outside of what the supported versions are from that article you listed.
