Exclude folder from periodic backups only

Hello, we would like our automated backups (daily, weekly, etc) to exclude "mail" subfolder. But not exclude it from manual full backups.

We found that the file "cpbackup-exclude.conf" can exclude the folder from all kind backups, but we don't want that. Because, when a CPanel user manually requests a full backup, shouldn't they expect the backup to be full?

  Hey there!  It is my understanding that using cpbackkup-exclude.conf will *not* be read by the local user's backup process, so this should be working exactly as you are expecting.  Are you seeing different behavior on your end?
