SFTP access but missing database access

We have SFTP access and Shell Access with the terminal access enabled but missing database access.

How to enable also database access without login into cPanel?

  Hey there!  I'm not sure what you mean as any database access tools (Manage Databases, PHPMyAdmin) would require logging into cPanel.

  If you wanted to create an additional user with limited cPanel access you would use the Manage Team feature: https://docs.cpanel.net/cpanel/preferences/manage-team/

  So, Shell Access with the terminal access needs SFTP access but it is not access to the database.

  I know with the software and SFTP access you can access database.

  Are you trying to run "mysql" commands as the user through Terminal?  Is that the end goal of this access?
