SSL Certs Only Good For 200 Days
Hi, I was just notified by my provider that effective march 15th and beyond that all SSL Certs will need to be renewed every 200 days, and that this is a industry change. Current Certs will keep their current lifespan. Basically this change just doubles our costs for SSL Certs every year, that is a huge increase.
Anyone know the inside track on why? Are they just being greedy or is there a good reason for this change?
If there is a good reason maybe cPanel can put out a technical resource for it. :)

Hey there! This one wasn't up to us - this is an industry wide change, and eventually they are going down to only 47 days:
